The Annual Quality Summit is a premier conference-style event that brings together nationally recognized keynote speakers and Northern Light Health leaders who are advancing innovation, quality, and excellence across our state. Through inspiring presentations, real-world case studies, and interactive discussions, attendees will explore strategies to rebuild trust with patients, families, and frontline teams while strengthening a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Participants will learn from transformation efforts that have achieved measurable, sustainable results and engage in meaningful dialogue about the leadership, transparency, and shared responsibility required to drive outcomes that matter most.

1. Describe evidencebased leadership strategies that cultivate talent, strengthen coaching, and improve patient and workforce engagement.
2. Arrange employee engagement survey data to identify departments needing assistance.
3. Summarize the evolution of treatment for neonatal hypoxicischemic encephalopathy (HIE) into the modern standard of care of therapeutic hypothermia.
4. Facilitate a team activity that identifies frontline interventions to improve patient experience.
5. Recognize the clinical significance of early ambulation following cardiac surgery and its role in reducing complications associated with immobility while promoting cardiopulmonary recovery and functional independence.
6. Recognize the four core behaviors of psychological safe teams; speaking up, asking questions, responding with respect and learning instead of blaming, and explain their impact on team performance and patient safety
7. Connect Summit insights to organizational priorities and define actionable next steps that drive measurable impact.

Cancellation Policy

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
