Dementia Case Conferences - 5/20/2026

1. Increase knowledge on identifying patients with early signs of cognitive impairment(s)
2. Increase knowledge on developing care plans to help support patients and their families with dementia
3. Increase knowledge on the referral process and when it is clinically indicated to refer to specialists
4. Increase knowledge on the different stages of dementia and care needs
5. Increase knowledge on managing psychiatric symptoms in patients with cognitive disorders
6. Increase knowledge on differential diagnosis considerations when seeing patients with cognitive impairments who have psychiatric and/or behavioral symptoms
7. Increase the ability to apply this knowledge to working with rural older adults

Cancellation Policy

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
